Laurie Saindon, President

Laurie SaindonLaurie Saindon began his career in over 25 years ago as an aircraft maintenance engineer, specializing in Eurocopter AS350 and Bell helicopters. Laurie spent 10 to 15 years doing field maintenance and is well versed in all aspects of Canadian helicopter maintenance and repairs. Because of his extensive experience in the field, Laurie understands how important it is to have the right parts for the job at the right time. Before starting the Tempest Group in 2000, Laurie worked for Northern Mountain Helicopters and Hill Aircraft. At NMH, Laurie was in charge of the heavy maintenance division, he was the chief engineer for the medium division, and spent vast sums of time in the North West Territories and the Yukon doing field service and repair. For Hill Aircraft, Laurie served as quality insurance manager.

Laurie is bilingual, speaks French and English fluently, and has many ties to the international community, including contacts and associates in United States, Singapore, Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand.

Steve Reeves, CEO

Steve Reeves, CEOSteve Reeves moved to British Columbia in 1994 and began work with Northern Mountain Helicopters, where he worked as an aircraft maintence engineer and the chief engineer for the logging division, which included maintenance for heli-logging operations. He also managed the set up of international operations. From this experience, he became extremely well versed in all aspects of international helicopter operations and conduct. Steve also spent some time working for Hill Aircraft as their shop foreman.

Steve has an extensive aeronautical product knowledge base, industry savvy, drive and a passionate approach to customer care. He is a problem solver, has fantastic business sense and the young dynamic drive needed to push Tempest into new and prosperous directions.

Trish Fouquet, VP Sales & Marketing

Trish joined the Tempest Group in November of 2005. She has an extensive background in sales, marketing and purchasing (level 3 PMAC) for the aviation industry. Trish worked in purchasing for Coulson Air Crane and then for four years, she worked for Acro Aero Parts, serving as the Sales Representative for Canada and the United States. Trish's strong business and technical skills is a huge asset to the Tempest Group,

Trish prides herself on her customer support, her prompt attention to details, her AOG rapid response time and her excellent product knowledge. She is the resident Sikorsky expert and has extensive knowledge on CT58 engine overhauls and Bell helicopters.
